According to news reports, the Department of Homeland Security is warning law enforcement officials about a rise in”rightwing extremist activity” labeling citizens opposed to new firearms restriction, returning veteran and conservatives.  CNN called thise citizens rednecks.

Here is a few more ways that the DHS and CNN can tell a difference betwoeen liberals and conservatives.

You might be a redneck if …It is never occurred to you to be offended by the phrase, “One nation, under God.”

You might be a redneck if…You’ve never protested about seeing the 10 Commandments posted in public places.

You might be a redneck if…You still say “Merry Christmas” insteead of “Happy Winter Festival”.

You might be a redneck if…You bow your head when someone prays.

You might be a redneck if…You stand and place your hand over your heart when hey paly the National Anthem.

You might be a redneck if…You treat our armed forces veterans with great respect, and always have.

You might be a redneck if…You’ve never burned an American flag, nor intend to.

You might be a redneck if…You know what you beleive and you arent’ aftaid to say so, no matter who is listening.

You might be a redneck if…You respect your elders and raised your kids to do the same.

You might be a redneck if…You’d give your last dollar to help a friend.

You might be a redneck if…You rather work, than get a handout.

On Sunday, Miss California Carrie Prejean, was asked by blogger Perez Hilton, a open gay and one of the pageant’s judges, about her stance on same sex marriage.  Responding, Prejean said she personally believed marriage should be between a man and a woman.  The pageant contestant says she knew afterwards that she was not going to win because of her answer because she “had spoken from the heart, for my beliefs, and for my God”…

Wow, the more I read and see of this lady the more respect I have for her.  There are only a few times in your life that you have an opportunity to show people what is inside of you.  In a world that sees only lies and half-truths it is very refreshing to see someone stand on their beliefs.  The problem with this entire process is why was this question even asked?  This is the problem I have with this political correctness…mess.  It has done away with the truth.  People are suppose to hold in the truth in fear that they may be called political correct.  If we learn anything from Ms. Prejean’s stand…let it be that the truth is still sharper than a sword and harder than a rock.

The ACLU is demanding hat the school system unblock “lesbian, gay, bisexual, and trangender” websites by April 29, 2009, or face a lawsuit.  The ACLU claims the filtering software used by the Knox county school system (which is provided by Education Networks of America) blocks students from viewing nonsexual websites that host content they consider protected free speech. 

This is a no-brainer.  I am never amazed by the ACLU and the way they attack values in our country.  Many people know that filters are used in our schools to protect our students from the millions of inappropriate websites.  The ACLU does not care about student’s rights being violated; their only concern is to promote a homosexual agenda.  Why else does this need to be in our schools?  The ACLU is not filing a lawsuit for the heterosexual rights.  The ACLU is trying to bully a school system into promoting a sexual lifestyle.  This is not an educational question….if it does not deal with the educating our children, it should not be in our schools.

Last month a conservative columnist Don Feder was invited by a conservative school club to give a presentation, but he was unable to do so after school protestors heckled him off the stage while school officials stood by and watched.  Now this left wing group stole copies of a conservative newspaper and blocked its distribution on campus.  This group would actually stand on the stack of papers and steal the papers out of the hands of  the students who were trying to hand them out. 

My beef is with the UMass-Amherst staff who should be protecting the rights of all students.  They should be protecting the 1st Amendment right of this students.  My second beef is with the ACLU…where are you at?  If this person was gay or black or speaking for the liberal left…they would have filed a lawsuit. Once again this is an example how the left wants to play politics…fairness and Constitutional Rights go both ways…Any time people try to bully the Constitutional rights away from anyone the government has to step in…
